My Budgeting Supplies

On this page you'll find links to the products that I use for my financial health journey. I use a combination of a paper budget to plan out my month ahead of time, and a digital budget to actually assign my money a job when I get paid. Here are the supplies that I use on a regular basis for my paper budgeting. Unless I say otherwise, I do use and recommend each of these products

Black FriXion Erasable Pens, 2 Pack

Yes - The FriXion pens ACTUALLY erase! Like, for reals!

FriXion Erasable Black Clickable Pens - 3 Pack

Basic staple and a must have for paper budgeting (in my humble opinion) I keep these in stock at all times.

7 Pack Colored FriXion Erasable Pens

A colorful option of the basic black pen. If you watch my channel then you know I like to switch it up and do each week's budget in a new color. No reason, just for funzies 😊

12 pack FriXion Marker Pens

I haven't used these specific pens but I do use the other FriXion pens and highlighters on this list, almost daily! I know a lot of people prefer a felt, almost marker, type pen so I wanted to list this as an option.

Pastel FriXion Highlighters

I've always been a pastel person and these erasable highlighters are perfect for my budget close outs!

Bright 6 Pack FriXion Erasable Highlighters

Honestly, I have no idea why the bright colors are only available in Japanese but they are the same as the pastel version. I do have and use both and recommend them fully!

32 Weight HP Paper

This is the weight that I use to print my budget planner at home. I like that it's thick enough for the ink and highlighters to not bleed through but thin enough to print doublesided on my home printer.

Better Note Matte Cover

Pictured is Kaleidoscope, this is the one I used in 8 1/2 x 11 but they have many sizes and styles.

2" Happy Planner Discs

I have a thing for pastel rainbows, turns out. These are 2" because 12 months is a lot of months!

Happy Planner Hole Punch

This is the hole punch that I use because it was gifted to me. There are definitely less expensive options (see my other links!) but I do love and recommend this one if you are able and willing to invest. I can't confirm the other brands as I've never used them.

Hole punch for disc binders (non-name brand)

1st - I love this color!
2nd - This is a more affordable option to the Happy Planner brand and has mostly 4 and 5 star reviews. I can't personally vouch for it as I use the Happy Planner version but I wanted to give a more affordable option

Calculator

What can I say about it? It's a calculator. Most people have one on their pones but, when I first started my channel, I was using my phone to film so I needed a separate calculator. This is the one I bought. It's nothing fancy but I like that the numbers face me and I can see them without a glare.

Budget By Paycheck Digital Planner

This is the digital version of the Budget By Paycheck planner by The Budget Mom. This is the version I currently use (though I do use last year's version) since I'm not a cash budgeter and don't use every page. (That's why I use the printer paper, hole punch etc) - Not an affiliate link, I just love this product

This is the printed version of the Budget By Paycheck planner by The Budget Mom. I did order and review this planner but, ultimately, decided to stick with the digital version this year. Wonderful quality and I love that the cover is interchangeable. - Not an affiliate link, I just love this product

Life in Envelopes Etsy Shop

Jennifer Bleacher is a fellow budgeting YouTuber who also creates budgeting stickers on Etsy. I've been purchasing her products almost from the start of my journey.
